Hale has been through some changes since we first met him, evolving from a more one-dimensional ladies’ man character to a more fleshed out individual struggling with people’s expectations of him. We discuss Hale’s journey from sidekick to acting Ash, Hale’s approach to power, how his character challenges gender expectations, and more.

Trick is the most mysterious character on Lost Girl, which is saying a lot given the amount of secret-keeping that goes on amongst Bo and her circle of friends and family. We explore some of the (many) unanswered questions about Trick. How did he become The Blood King? What have been some consequences of Trick using his powers? How far would he go and who would he sacrifice to protect “the greater good”? We also discuss one fan’s analysis of Trick as a villain.
