We discuss some of our favorite music moments in Seasons 4 and 5, having covered our favorites from the earlier seasons in a previous episode. We mention songs that mirror characters’ emotional states, songs that we just think are catchy, and one song with very curious lyrics.
We thought it was only appropriate to talk about our favorite sex scenes in Lost Girl in our sixty-ninth episode. Stephanie tries not to be too analytical, while Annie is finally in her element, as we get a little more pervy than usual.
When is The Morrigan going to call in that favor from Kenzi? What happened to Lou Ann Heidegger? Is the first Ash still on life support? We discuss the hanging plot threads on Lost Girl that people are anxious to be resolved, many of which — not surprisingly — are leftover from Season 4.
Massimo was introduced at the end of Season 3 as a mysterious, sexy troublemaker, encouraging Kenzi to feel insecure about her place in the Fae world, but by the end of Season 4 Massimo had revealed himself to be a deeply troubled individual with a massive Oedipus complex. We discuss Massimo as Kenzi’s “drug dealer,” how he compares to Bo, his sartorial choices, and more.
Crystal was a big hit with Kris and Stephanie — they would have pizza and beer and vent with her anytime. She was a likeable, interesting character in her own right, and our love for Betty McRae, Ali Liebert’s character on Bomb Girls, only added to our affection toward Crystal. We discuss the moments that made us like Crystal, some Bomb Girls references you may have missed, and why Crystal needs to come back in season 5.
Bo discovers that a second curse will kill Rainer in a very short while, and they go on a quest to break the curse with the help of one of Rainer’s former lieutenants. In her grief, Kenzi turns to Bo, Dyson, and Vex to help her go after Massimo. Meanwhile, Lauren overhears The Morrigan threaten Bo, but she has a plan to deal with her.

During the hiatus, we take a moment to review Season 4 thus far. We discuss some themes of the season, unanswered questions, and moments we missed in our initial discussions. We talk about the recurring theme of memory, where Trick’s papyrus seed might have gone, what was in the oozy box in “In Memoriam,” and more.
After escaping from a mysterious train on another plane, Bo comes across a family being haunted by a vengeful ghost. Still in search of Bo, Dyson joins forces with Clio to track her down. Lauren gets closer to her co-worker Crystal, but that relationship may be in jeopardy because Lauren’s past seems to be catching up with her.
